Originally founded as Market Lubbock, Inc. in 1997, the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance (LEDA) was established by the City to recruit new business and industry to Lubbock while retaining existing companies. 

We’re proud of our accomplishments.  In the eleven years since the Lubbock EDA was founded, we have been responsible for creating over 7,000 new jobs and over $300 million in direct investment.  We’ve had the pleasure of helping companies like Allstate Insurance Company; ARMtech Insurance Services; Food Concepts International / Abuelo’s; INCODE; Mrs Baird's Bakeries; X-FAB Texas; and Watson Sysco Foodservice set up shop in Lubbock.
