Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center works with manufacturers to improve their competitiveness by identifying opportunities and implementing appropriate solutions. Tech-Prep/School-to-Career is a shool-to-work partnership between education and business that prepares young people for today's skilled workforce Byron Martin Advanced Technology Center is a unique educational venture involving the Lubbock Independent School Distric, South Plains College, and a number of community partners. The ATC is designed to deliever cooperative technical education programs to support the development of a skilled technical workforce for the Lubbock-South Plains Region. WorkSource of the South Plains works with area businesses by providing education, training, and assistance hiring employees in the region. Northwest Texas Small Business Development Center is the premier small business resource for the South Plains with sub centers in Amarillo, Lubbock, Stephenville, Abiliene, Odessa, and Wichita Falls. Lubbock Regional BioScience Initiative promotes regional economic development and fosters entrepreneurism within the BioScience Industry in the West Texas Region and other communities across the nation and around the world. WesTex Allied Communities Enterprise Facilitiation works with a community based board to provide free, confidential, business management and networking advice to aspiring entrepreneurs and existing businesses.
