Business Retention

Lubbock Economic Development Alliance strives to help the Lubbock community grow through local business, employers and the opportunities presented each day. With this in mind, the Business Retention Department works to develop and expand local companies while helping them achieve their personal and organizational goals, through capital investment, job incentives, and training programs. This is accomplished through the cultivation of strong relationships with our existing and new businesses.

Through visiting local companies and building those relationships, LEDA is able to become apprised of the company’s needs and assist them or put them in touch with others who can also provide assistance. If companies are in the expansion stage, LEDA ensures that they receive all information and incentives that are available to them. The Business Retention Department also continues to build strong relations within business-to-business by introducing various employers to each other so that they might have a mutually-beneficial relationship.
