The combined efforts of the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance and Visit Lubbock have been very successful this past fiscal year, resulting in business investments, job creation, increased tourism, and a better quality of life for those residing in Lubbock and the South Plains Region. The Board of Directors is very proud of the accomplishments of both organizations and look forward to achieving and surpassing their company goals over the next fiscal year.  It is my great honor and privilege to follow David Alderson as Chairman of LEDA and Market Lubbock. I will do my best to uphold the high standards and goals that these organizations achieved during his tenure.

I also want to offer my thanks and deep appreciation to Gary Lawrence for his vision, his guidance and his perseverance as President and CEO of LEDA and Market Lubbock.  His efforts have brought enormous economic benefits to our community and all of our citizens owe Gary a big South Plains “Thank you!”
