Areas of Concentration:
Marketing
The Marketing Department at Lubbock Economic Development Alliance plans and implements individual marketing programs for Business Recruitment, Business Retention, Workforce Development and Foreign Trade Zone initiatives. Since each group has unique goals and objectives, separate marketing campaigns are created to reach a specific audience. With increased competition in the Economic Development industry, the marketing department at LEDA aims to stand out from the crowd by delivering high-impact, strategic and creative executions using a variety of marketing tools. These include print advertising, broadcast advertising, outdoor advertising, web site development, public relations, direct mail, tradeshow efforts, collateral, customized proposal books and video news releases.
Marketing projects that have been typically outsourced in the past have been brought in-house to give LEDA strategic marketing advantages against competing economic development groups. Today, we are able to produce industry-caliber materials in less time for less money, ideal for Business Recruitment efforts. In addition to this, we have gained efficiencies by having experts in-house to better understand the intricacies of the ever-evolving economic development industry.
Although each business group with the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance requires a specific message, generally a “Live, Work and Play” position is found in every marketing piece. Every day, marketing campaigns created by LEDA promote our city online, in the airport, in print and in broadcasts across the world.
