Since its start in 1969, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) has trained more than 7,000 medical professionals and has met the health care needs of Lubbock, West Texas, and eastern New Mexico. 2,000 students are currently enrolled at the TTUHSC, and each year the Center grants 800 degrees.
In addition to being a leader in patient care, TTUHSC has established itself as a top-ranked institution for research, particularly in the fields of cancer, infertility, rural health, and aging.
