Young Professionals of Greater Lubbock

During a 2005 evaluation of Lubbock Economic Development Alliance’s economic development strategy, over 100 young professionals answered a survey indicating that they would like to have a local organization to network and collaborate with peers. In the same survey, 96 young professionals stated they want to participate in economic development. LEDA wanted to develop an organization in order to promote Lubbock, attract and retain young professionals, and utilize the talent and interest of young professionals as a resource to attract businesses.
